Congratulations! Mike Pryor – our mobility equipment coordinator – was awarded Redbourn Parish Council Community Champion 2024! Mike is responsible for maintaining and delivering the fleet of electric scooters, wheelchairs, rollators and other mobility items we lend to Redbourn residents in exchange for a donation.
Mike regularly exceeds expectations, be it fixing mechanical issues or making repeated visits until the client’s mobility needs are met, or attending ‘Coffee off the Common’ each week to chat with clients.
In addition, Mike also makes or fixes items for Redbourn Allotments, the Christmas market, St Marys Church, Redbourn Redbourn in Bloom and Wild about Redbourn.
What a well-deserving champion!
