Redbourn Classics 2026 Volunteering

Since 2017, Redbourn Classics has raised over £130,000 for Redbourn charities and is one of the largest annual donors for Redbourn Community Group…

Thank you for considering volunteering at the 2026 Redbourn Classic Motor Show & Village Fete. This year’s event is being held on Saturday 5th September 2026.

Redbourn Community Group helps the Classics Organising Committee with recruiting volunteers and you can find more information about the roles we need help with below.

Event Setup

Volunteers are needed on Friday evening and Saturday morning to assist with putting up mesh fencing, signage, gazebos, and directing stallholders and exhibitors before the event starts. Click here for further information about the activities involved, some of which are ideal for families!

Clear Away

Unfortunately it’s not over until we have cleared The Common of all fencing, signage, gazebos and litter! We aim to have everything completed between 5PM – 7PM. Some of these activities are ideal for families, to read more please click here.

Entrance Gates

There will be four pedestrian entrances, each with contactless card readers, collection buckets, stickers and event flyers. Your role will be to greet visitors and encourage donations to be made to our chosen charities. Each volunteering slot is two hours but chairs are provided! Public Car Park Marshalls

Volunteers are needed to help direct visitors’ vehicles into the public car parking areas. Hi-viz jackets, lanyards and maps will be supplied! Each volunteering slot is two hours and older teenagers may like to help. For more information please click here.

This year’s event will showcase a selection of classic cars and motorbikes, and host exhibits and stalls. The event gives free pitches to 25 local community and not-for-profit groups each year (including the Scouts, Girl Guides, Redbourn Library, Redbourn in Bloom, Redbourn Museum, Neighbourhood Watch, Redbourn Players, Redbourn Fireworks, Repair Shed, St Luke’s School, Friends of the Nickey Line, Ver Valley Society, Playing Field Trust etc.).
